He has just been noted as son instead of Son in Law.
It's not really a problem.

I have found 1851 census with Edward Ingram- township of Tunstall,parents George and Elizabeth Ingram aged 8
The i checked 1871 census -72 silver st, Masham
Edward is with Metcalfe family ,and listed as son on this census?
He married Sarah Metcalfe-
is it a mistake
