More info on Richard Steward. He did marry an Indian woman, her name was Beatrice ( don't know her surname), he had about 2 or 3 businesses, 1 was leather & saddle business. Him & Beatrice had a son but Beatrice couldn't have anymore children, Richard came over to England in 1953 for a holiday & wanted to take my mum back with him but her father John Francis Steward said no. He lived in Lucknow, India as that is part of the address on the letter my mum received from him. He died in India. My mum has told me she doesn't know when he went or how he travelled there or if he was in the war to have arrived there. She doesn't know when he died either. There's no one left on mum's side of the family to ask so don't know anything more. Hope someone can help with this :-)
