Hi there Philip - unlikely Robert is still a member - that's the only posting he ever made - you could however try to make contact with him through the site by clicking on his name to send a message - if he still has the same email address he should get it

Hi you posted your advert ten years ago, I hope you are still searching. Sadly I am unable to assist you at present, but you may be able to assist me. I have a Mary Gregg in my tree, she gave birth to my Grandfather who was born in 1877. She lived in Bedminster and was a governess. My grandfather was illegitimate so if you have the same Mary Gregg you my not be aware of her son. Can you tell me your Mary Gregg's date of birth and whether you think we have a connection.

Thank you.

Robert

Hello! My Grandfather was Arthur Robert Henry Leon, born in Suffolk. He is descended from Ernest Leon of Benhall, Suffolk and he from William Leon of Yoxford, Suffolk. I have traced Ernest's siblings as Ellen, William, Eliza, Austin, Amos and Rosa. Bothe Ernest and Amos died in WW1. Amos married Mary Gregg and was in Melton Mowbray area. That is the extent of my knowledge of the LEONS - PLEASE if anyone knows anything else that links to this family, please get in touch. Many thanks Robert.
