Alexander, welcome to the boards.

Jayne posted over 8 years ago and may well not be a member of GR any longer. However, if you click on her name there is the opportunity to send her a Personal message through the GR system. If she still has the same email address as she registered with GR they will notify her that she has a message.

After all this time, don't be surprised if you get no answer - there could be many reasons.

Hello Jayne,
My Gahan's are also from Dublin, starting with Owen GAHAN, b 1814, who married a Margaret REDMOND, their son Thomas ( b 1835, Dublin ) moved to Scotland whilst serving in the army, does any of that help ?, the tree is in the main site on GR, he later changed his name to GAYNE.

Regards,
Alex.

I am looking for infomation on the Gahn Family. My Great Granmother was Cathrine Gahan born in Ireland in 1871. She married John Francies Moran in 189o/91. Cathrine and John lived in Gorton Manchester and had nine children I know her mothers name was also Cathrine Moran and belive her father was Patrick Moran. I think Cathrine had an older sibbling named Mary who was also born in Ireland. The birth place is listed in Dublin. Later they also had sibblings born in Manchester named Timothy, Elizbeth and Michael. In the 1881 census the family lived in Ancoats and Father is listed as a Railway Porter. Thanks Jayne Manchester
