Hello Ross, if you hover your cursor over someone's avatar it tells you how long they've been a member and how many posts they've made on the boards. If it just shows when then they've only made the one post and have never returned to it.

If it shows 0 (like Ann's) then it implies they're not a member anymore.

Ann has not posted again. You have picked up an old thread that was posted before genes was updated ,which is has done several times since 2007

Its unlikely she is a member now but you can try to send her a message by clicking on the box. If she still has the same email address it will get through and she can reply to you

Click on her name to send a message, which will get to her IF she still has the same e-mail

And then you can offer to share your tree...........it can't be done on the boards.

Hello Ann. I'm a Gerring, and I've got a lot of Gerrings from Abingdon from the 1800s in my family tree. I don't immediately recognise any of yours listed above, but I reckon there's still a strong chance of a connection.

Perhaps we can share trees?

Trying to find any information relating to GERRING. Family who came from ABINGDON Berkshire. There were six children from the marriage of Louisa (nee Beesley and Thomas (Tom) GERRING. They were GEORGE b1890, WILLIAM b1893, THOMAS b1894, HENRY b1897, LILLIAN b1898 and JOHN b1900. I would appreciate any knowledge of the above including the parents Louisa and Tom.
