Hi Rees and welcome to the boards.

This thread was posted by Diane back in 2007........so very unlikely she will return to it now.

You could click on Diane's name and send her a message. If she is still a member with the same email address, GR will notify her of your message.

If you need help with your research...........you can post a thread of your own, giving us information of exactly what you are looking for.

You can also click on "Search" above........and then "Search All Members Trees" from the dropdown menu. You will then be able to see if any other members have your family in their trees.

Hi, Rees -

Welcome to the boards.

Unfortunately, Diane posted that in 2007, so isn't likely to be looking here for replies now.

You can try contacting her by clicking on her name and sending a private message. If she still has the same email address, GenesReunited will notify her that she has a message.

If you would like help with your research, feel free to tell us (assorted voluntary helpers) some details - names, dates, places, and what you already know, and we may be able to help.

Hi Diane

My name is Rees Wilson and I have recently joined Genes Reunited to help find relatives of the Wharton family from South Shields, where I was born and lived until I was 23. My grandad on my mother's side of the family was called Sammy Wharton and was one of John and Jenny (Jane) Wharton's sons. It would be nice to get in touch with you and talk about what you have been able to uncover so far.
Thanks
Rees Wilson
