Hello - did you ever find out more about Edith Dorothy Mary (Seymour-)Higgins? The reason I ask is that I am researching Jean C Manson - and the two ladies appear to have shared the same address for many, many years. Jean manson had been a governess to two previous employers and I wonder if maybe she was a 'secretary-cum- house-help' etc for Edith. Keen to talk more and explain my interest in Miss Manson (she spent time in Afghanistan and India) and imported into England a large group of afghan hounds (from which every Western dog of this breeds today descends from). Edith Dorothea Mary Higgins (Horn) died 09 Oct 1960 Kensington aged 75yrs. Born in Australia she married Alan Charles Pryce Seymour-Higgins 31 Jul 1924 Westminster (Divorced 1930). He was a Capt. in the Supply and Transport Corps of His Majesty's Indian Army (retired on account of ill health 1923). Information sought.
