The Theresa Brigette Clarke that we know was born in Tipperary, Ireland. She came over to England and married Henry Wadd of Rutland. they may have married in London where he had fled after setting light to the stable (his father was a hackney driver)where he and his twin brother were having an ilicit cigerette. He became a baker and settled in Crystal Palace/Sydenham area of S E London in very early 1900's. They parented 8 children 7 of whom survived and in good health. 4 boys and 4 girls - two of whom were twins. One (Harry) lost in the first world war and buried in France and one (Charlie) died of apperitinitis. I am the daughter of the youngest son.
