Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	One theory is that the Barham name originates from Reginald Fitzurse, one of the knights to murder Thomas a'Beckett. Part of his name when translated means 'Bear' that combined with hamlet could possibly have evolved from Bear Ham to the Barham we know now.
