Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 4 Send Message	Im trying to find some information on the Cooke family from Retford. My grandfather was born in 1926 in Goose Moor Crossing near Retford along with his 3 sisters, Margret, Shiela (now in New Zealand) and Winnie. His father was called Arthur Cooke who also worked on the railways and lived in various railways crossing houses. My grandad was a fireman on the railways and followed the trains up and down the country. He later married Lillian Wolstenhomle also from Retford and had my father Nigel John Cooke. who in turn had Leigh, Karen and Heather Cooke.
