Is anyone connected with Harry Joseph Grimsditch born 28.12.1885. in Prestwich? His father was Harry Grimsditch and mother was Sarah Ann (Clark). Their address was Sharp St. Prestwich and Harry was an attendant at the Lunatic Asylum. Harry Joseph had brothers, Albert born c1889, George born c1884 and a sister, Rose born c1893. George was the eldest child and was born in Stretford. Harry and Albert were born in Prestwich then the family must have moved to Gorton as that is where they are on the 1901 census. Harry Joseph Grimsditch married Frances Ann (Preston). Their children, Albert, Harry, Stanley, Lillian, Muriel, Frank, and Eric were brought up in the Gorton area. |
