Waldram's of Leicestershire,Nottinghamshire,Derbyshire and many other areas of the Country, originated with Henry Waldram born about 1450 in London In his Will proved 1511,he states he is a Brewer of the parish of St.Sepulchre without Newgate,London. Henry and his Son Thomas acquired land in Leicestershire and Thomas moved there. He amassed lots of land and properties and his descendendants were very influential until the Civil War,when they lost all their money and land. In the 17 and 1800's the descendants have moved out all over the country, but mainly Leicestershire,Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. One branch of the family tree goes back to William the Conqueror,Henry I,II,III,King John and many more Royal Lines. The surname has taken on many forms over the centuries including Waldrom/on/en/in/um/eram etc.
