I am looking for relative please, of James Ambrose McElhinney born on the 6th of December 1916. He died in a mining accident in 1961 in Bilsthorpe, Nottingham. James Ambrose McElhinney was born at 1 Brandywell Avenue, Londonderry. His father was Francis McElhinney and mother Mary McElhinney nee LOGUE. Other than that there is no information as to the whereabout of siblings of James Ambrose or decendants. James' parents both died when he was a child. There were siblings. A sister called Grace who lived in the South of Ireland. There could be a McElhinney in Manchester according to family rumour. A male child born 1940's or 1950's. James Ambrose McElhinney served in the British Army and became a Sargeant.
