Local - anyone out there with this surname? My children are Allison and Claire, daughters of David Charles Local, born Scotland 1955 and now residing in Australia. David is the third child, and youngest son of James and Joyce Local. Brother Edward and sister Jacqueline. Would love to hear from any possible relation. David's father James Morgan Local was born in northern england but resided in scotland from a young man. James did relate a story to his sons that his grandparents had a business which was rather successful for some years but have no idea what this was, but that it was taken from him by 'illegal ways'.
