Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	My grandfather was George Howitt,DOB unknown although I would guess it as being around the turn of the century. He married Matilda Loban who was born in 1900. I don't know much about them, except that they lived in Alexandria,Scotland.They had 8 children 7 boys, 1 girl. I know that this isn't much help to anyone but as i've only just discovered this site...who knows if you are Scottish and have relatives with my surname who came from Alexandria we may just get connected! :-) Happy hunting!!
