	My grandfather--Matthew Arnold was a solicitor and also at the time,(but I believe it still to be the case) the youngest mayor of Neath,being mayor at the age of 33yrs , in 1914.However he died at the early age of 38. His father was David Arnold and was a provisions merchant from Melyncryddan,and HIS father was also Matthew Arnold-but that's as far I have got at present!
