I wondered if anyone has traced the Moore family back to Somerset/Devon England. In my tree I have John Moore (b1748) m. Alice Searle (b1759) Their son, also John born 1777 m. Elizabeth Quick (1785) Their son Mark Quick Moore (b.1836) m. Ann Smith They also had a John Moore (b.1836) m.Elizabeth Norton (1863) They had three daughters, Blanche (b.1884), Prudence and Ann smith Moore (b1888), m. Thomas Warren (b.1885) I believe that latterly at least the family lived around Luppitt, Combe Raleigh and Taunton.
