I read somewhere on the internet that the very first Primmer recorded in England was a Primmer originally from Gibralter, he fought in the Battle of Hastings and was awarded some land for his bravery in the battle! I also read that the name Primmer was common in Gibralter and there is an island near there called Primmer Island! I have been unable to find this so called island on any atlas maps though (??) |
