BLACKHURST - I am interested to speak to anyone who has connecrion with the Blackhurst family in Longton Preston including the surnames: Fairhurst,Iddon,Austin,Taylor,Holme,Sibbering,Stephenson,Tuson,Bond,Roberston,Critchley and Fazackerley. In 1840 William Blackhurst became a Mormon and emigrated to America with his half brother Jonathon - there is now a large family over there but not much on the David who remained over here.
