George Rockey is my father born in 1925 lived in the Devonport area of Plymouth where his father also George worked in the dockyard. We have gone back through the archives until we stopped at Jane Rockey(born 1862, Washerwoman), who had Alice,Mabel,Beatrice & George(Great Grandfather) but no husband, widowed by 1901 census, no sign of them on 1891 census? Where do families dissapear to even with odd spellings still no sign.
