Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 11 Send Message	(nee Hastie) I met another Hastie who said he had researched the name and said it was of Irish origin. He promised to send me a copy of his research but never did. My family lived mainly in the Edinburgh area but I think were originally from Glasgow.
