My Grandfather,Joseph Brickell, was born either 1877 or 1878 in Seaham or Sunderland. He had at least two brothers, named John and James, and at least two sisters, named Mary and Julia. He married my Grandmother,Grace Mary Hunter, on August 1st 1907 at St. Mary Magdalenes Catholic Church,Seaham Harbour. Members of my Grandfathers family changed the spelling of their surname to Brickle or Brittle. Does anyone recognise these names?
