Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 3 Send Message	My family are from the Sheffield area but the Allen name originally came from an Irish immigrant / fugitive who came over to escape hanging for theft! His descendants include my grandad Ronald and his five brothers, one of whom (Frank) is still alive and has done some work on the tree.
