	Alf GILES My husbands Great Aunt Emily HICKS married an Alf GILES. At that time they may have lived in the BRENCHLEY / HORSMONDEN area of KENT. They had 2 sons, Dick, John who married Mary, (they had a son and a daughter). and a daughter Helen. John and Dick were both in the Merchant Navy, they used to visit an Aunt who lived in New Zealand when their ships docked there. John eventually settled in RAMSGATE where he married late in life. Does any of this tie in with your tree? Please let me know if it does. Thanks Kim
