Taylor Catherine Searching for Catherine Taylor, b. 1837 - 1847. She married John Whittall in 1862 at Wellington, Shropshire, had two children, Lucy b.1865 and John b.1966. Her father is down as William Taylor. 1871 census there is a Catherine Whittal living on her own b. Tipton, Staffs aged 25 years. This may be my Catherine, but the d.o.b. is 3 years apart, which I know can happen. 1881 census William Taylor is living in Worcester with wife Esther, grandson John b. Bilston, Staffs; also Catherine's children, Lucy aged 15 and John aged 14, both born at Wellington Shropshire. Can anyone help please! |
