I was born Evelyn Elizabeth Connor, in Dundee Scotland on 11 March 1955. Two sisters, Aileen and Alison. Parents James Connor born 1924 and Annie Fenton, born 1928, both born in Dundee. Grandparents Peter Connor (who was active in the Transport and General Workers Union)(dec'd) and Mary Connor McDonald (decd). Mary and Peter had 5 sons and a daughter, Terry (decd), Sid, James, Peter, Edwin, Mary) Grandfather, Peter Connor had many brothers and sisters who moved to the USA. I had a great uncle Tom Boland, who lived in the states and who came to Scotland in the early 1960s for a visit. I remember my grandfather's sister, Catherine, who also visited from the States when I was very young. Any family out there who may be connected? |
