My father`s name was Charlie,I believe he was born in Grangemouth Scotland 1916.He was an enameler by trade,his father was John{Jock}a rigger from Peterhead.My mother`s name was Agnes Hayes born Clydesdale 1916,her father was Walter Hayes {De La Hay},her mother was Sarah nee Smith.Father was one of 16 children {2nd youngest}can only remember some names Alexander,Colin,John {Jackie},William,Brown,Agnes and Kathleen.Mother one of 3, Elizabeth and James.I believe the Mathew's, Brown's and Scroogie's all from N/E Scotland are related by marriage.My middle name is Brown and my eldest brother is John Scroogie. |
