Hi Jill

I hope you don't mind me contacting you. My name is Claire Gadsdon and I've been tracing my family tree.
Today I found an article called "Gadsdon's of Brush Field Street" written by Peter Gadsdon, which you had commented on.

My great grand parents are the Robert and Caroline Gadsdon that you refer to in your comment.
My grandfather is Joseph Thomas Gadsdon (their son) and my father is Dennis Alfred Gadsdon.

Earlier this year I ventured to bethnal Green to see the house my grandfather was born in, 97 Wellington Row.
I was telling my dad about it and he thought a relative was still living there, the daughter of a man who's name has slipped my mind ( I shall ask my dad again)

Do you know of my dad? Or does your cousin remember him?

I'm not sure of your connection to the Gadsdon's and even if you have any info on my Gadsdon line. But if you do I'd be really keen to share.

Any information with regard to Caroline Gadsdon born Bethnal Green 1878 daughter of Joseph George Gadsdon and Emma Edgehill. Appears in 1881/1891/1901 Census Did she marry? If so who? Can anybody assist Please contact [email protected]
