Hi Ronald
I can't help you with the Bateman family I'm afraid but notice that you are a Kendrew and you mention Leeds. I realise that this is an old post but I am looking for a Clarence Walter Kendrew who married a Teresa Segolo in Barkton Ash Yorks. I wondered if you had any links to these people? They had a daughter named June Maria Teresa in 1949. I am pretty sure that I am related to Teresa Segolo as there are very few Segolo's anywhere in the world that I am not related to. It's a very unusual name and the family came originally from Italy. I do hope that you can help. Many thanks Barbara Williams [email protected] I am a member of the Anglo Italian family history society.

Jean Kendrew(formerly Bateman) Hi, Bateman is my family name. Does anyone out there have Jane Ann Bateman born 1848 Leeds - daughter of Thomas Bateman and Martha Bateman(formerly Waggitt)on their tree. Think Jane Ann married a John Thompson of Pottery Fields and had a son named James T.T.Bateman along with 4 other children named Reuben, Willie, Amy and Ada, these all named Thompson.
