It is eleven years since Karen started this thread, and nine since Patricia's reply, with nothing added since then.

It is unlikely that either of them is looking for a reply here now.

You can try sending Karen a private message (click on her name at the top of her post.)
If she still uses the same email address which she registered with GR, she will be notified that she has a message from you.

Then she may (or may not) reply.

Hi Karen,
I have just rejoined Ancestry and seen your post.
My Mother was a Hemstock. She came from the Hull area of Yorkshire where you will find many of them.
The name though originates from Nottinghamshire in the main.
We lived in Middlesex but knew no Hemstocks there.

I AM LOOKING FOR RELATIONS IN THE NAME OF HEMSTOCK ANDOVER WAS WHERE I THOUGHT THEY WERE ORIGANLY FROM BUT NOW THEY ARE IN MIDDX,
