WILLIAM Evans born c. 1813 BERMONDSEY, LONDON (previously, Kent ?) 1851 census lived in DEPTFORD London (prev. Kent) married to ISABELLA Evans (born c 1813 ST LUKE Middlesex): Children: George Amelia Charles Alfred Maria William (my great, great ,great grandfather). AM TRYING TO DISCOVER THE MAIDEN NAME OF Isabella Evans but am having no luck with marriage or death certificate. Haven't a clue what to do next. Any other info would be appreciated.

Hello Sandra, I don't know if you are still registered with Genes but if you are, I think we may have a connection. I believe William was the father of Charles Edwin Evans born 1847 St. Pauls, Deptford. Although I have William born 1813 in Bermondsey being married to Charlotte Bocock (born 1813 St. Luke, Middx.) not Isabella. Would be grateful for any info.

Sandra only posted the once and as her post is 8 years old it's highly unlikely she is a member now

You could try to make contact by sending her a message by clicking on her name

If she still has the same email address she will receive it and can then respond . She can't initiate a reply to you as a non member but can reply to any message you send her

Ah well that solves that, the 1851 census has been mistranscribed as isabella the image IS actually Charlotte.
