Yes I can give you some details.

Captain William Taylor, was a brother of my direct Ancestor Edward

Born 1891 in East Donyland England and died 1939 in the USA. Appears to have a very interesting history which I am sure you might know about (If so let me know !)

He was at my gt grandmother's funeral in 1933.

His wife was Hilda Mona Brown and they had a son Lawrence who eventually emigrated to Australia. I know quite a bit about Lawrence . He had a son Michael and a daughter Jackie, both who live in Australia

My gt grandfather was Edward Taylor who died at sea in 1892

Hi Graham, This is may be a long shot? My Gran was born at rowhedge 1905. My grat grandmother was a rower woman and sometimes helped at the local funeral directors. Im sure that My grandads Name was Captain william Taylor. I thought the family name was Brown? Can you help at all with these names?

TAYLORS -EAST DONYLAND ROWHEDGE NR COLCHESTER ESSEX My family lived in East Donyland (Essex) from at least 1800 to 1960. Daniel? born about 1798, Daniel born about 1824, Edward born 1860, Edward b 1883, Edward William, b 1910. Freemen of the City of Colchester. Connections with FAIRS, COLLISON, WATSON, WEBB, CLARKE, CARTER AND WAKELAND, family trees. Close connections with Colne River Fishing Company and Oysters Any information do get in touch. Graham Taylor
