Rosamond Hamer nee Stewart Would like to know more about my grandparents and great grandparents. My father was Eric Gordon Stewart who was born I think in Wallasey/ Birkebhead ,in 1909. he had siblings Beatrice, Hilda Vera and Alan. The family owned property in Liverpool, Wallasey and Ness the family home being 'Darnley' at Ness. My eldest sister Jean Lever (nee Stewart) and I were going to tackle this together but she has since died and I have fianlly got around to it! I would particularly like to know what happened to my Aunt Vera Stewart who lost touch with the family during ww2 I think. I have losts of information that may help others to fill the gaps in their trees, any help with mine will be greatfully received.

I am searching for a Stephen Stewart last heard of 1887 in Liverpool, think he may have been a ships purser/steward can you help

Hi Rosamund,
just found your letter 14.10.05, I am afraid I do not recogniseErioc, Brstrice Hilda, Vera or Ala,, but have a cousin named Eric also one named Beatrice both both from my Hughrd line, who also came from Liverpool anf had property there, Florence Malwine Hughes married ?? Stephen Stewart and had my Father Edward George Stewart, I know very little about Stephen but have a large Hughes F.T. Lokk forward to hearing from you, perhaps we can help eachother. regards June Stewart.
