I am trying to locate anyone who knew my Grandfather, Ebenezer George Wheeler - son of Andrew Wheeler and Fanny Wheeler (formerly Batt). He was born in Beckington in 1876 but I have no idea when he died or even where he was at that time. Never having known him during his lifetime I would at least like to try and locate his grave (if he was buried and not cremated!) and wonder if there is anyone out there that could help me. I believe he may have worked for Chivers and Son in Battersea in or around 1929 and it's thought that he may have lived with two of his sisters in Bath later than that, though this is only hearsay. I understand that he lost his right hand in an accident and had a false arm with a hook - quite a good distinguishing feature!! Any help would be very gratefully received.
