I was told by my father (Percy Charles Coan) that his cousin came to the States or maybe Canada when he was a boy. I have a very informative family tree but I have always been curious about "missing names" in my family. My grandfather's name was Charles Henry Frederick Coan b1852 his father was John Henry Coan. They lived in Shoreditch, London and had family in Norwich.
