Great grandfather, william Bishop Clarke, born 1837 died 1895 married Sara Ellen Parr? He was a Loch keeper at Chester and lived in Crane Street. Their son Edward my grandfather married Catherine Hughes of Gambier Terrace at St Ncholas Church in Liverpool, after eloping. They were both aged 18. No specific dates are known, but it would probably be in the late 1880s. Later the family lived in South Street and Moville Street in the Dingle area.
