Do you have any information about the descendants of Charles Bowles HARE who married my ancestor Ellen Hensley GORDON about 1870 ? He was born in Clifton, Bristol and was J.P. and Alderman of Bristol. Eldest son of Charles Bowles Hare of Clifton, Bristol and Henrietta Grace. He was b. 6.7.1841 at 9 Savile Place, Clifton and educated at Cheltenham College and entered the City Council as Member for Redcliff Ward, 1871. In the 1881 Census he is listed as a Merchant Manufacturer aged 39 living at 2 Royal Terrace, Weston-Super-Mare. Any information would be much appreciated!! Alistair |
