I am trying to research my family tree and have hit a brick wall any help greatly appreciated. Ggfather Thomas Marchant b1861 married Ellen Smith 1884 died 1900,Croydon,Surrey .They had William,Thomas,Fredrick(my Grandfather),Alfred,Ethel,Nellie.Any info please get in touch.Frderick my grandfather married Agnes May Saunders uns. Ellen Smith was also known as Giles ,she had two children sent off to Canada in early 1900s. Would be grateful for any info. My fathers brothers are Joseph,Peter,Bob,Fred sisters Iris and Rose.All history i have originates in Croydon, Surrey.
