Find Ancestors

I am June Palmer, I am trying to find when and where my Grandfather was born. His name was STEPHEN HARRISON, on the 2nd. of March 1901, he married my Grandmother MARY LOUISA BROOKS. From the Marriage Certificate, I found that he was employed as a Colliery Banks Manager,he was 45 vears old and lived on Station Road, Pilsley. Derbyshire. His Father was Thomas Harrison. My Mother Nellie Harrison was born June 1901 at Wessington Lane, Wessington. Stephen Harrison died on the 5th. April 1927 at 75 Town Street, Pinxton. Nottinghamshire. I would like to know how and where he spent the first 45 years of his life. Some of his possessions included a large leather suitcase covered with labels from all over the world and his name, also ivory shoehorn, ebony backed clothes brushes, silver backed hair brushes and an ivory handled hook (used for fastening buttons on boots). Maybe he was in service? If anyone can help? Please contact me.
