My grandfather, James Young, was a career soldier who served in China during the Boxer Rising and won the Military Medal as an NCO with the Inniskilling Fusiliers at Gallipoli. He was born in Whiteinch, outside Glasgow in the mid 1880s and died in Belfast in 1950. I would be grateful for further information.
