I am trying to find out about my great grandfather George Penn Hamilton. He was an actor at the beginning of the last century. He married Gladys Annette Goring a pianist, she was from London. They had two sons, Harold and Aubrey, who both lived in Brighton. They divorced when the boys were little and no more is known about him. He was 31 in 1911 when he married Gladys. His father was also called George Penn Hamilton and he was a confectioner, but was deceased in 1911. I have checked the birth indexes for George Hamilton but cannot find him. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. |
