Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	i am trying to trace my grandfarther john edward mason's parents.i know that my grandfather was born in 1904 and grew up in newthorpe common nr eastwood nottingham. he worked as a miner and was a member of the st john's ambulance for many years. after marring harriett broom the family moved to clipstone nr mansfield. were he worked in the mines they later moved to blidworth notts.were he lived untill his death in 1964. he had 7 children Jack, Grace, Dennis(my father)iris,ivan, aka val Gwen, Geoff(who died at 16) if anyone can help please get in touch
