My dads name was George Albert Day.Mums name was Ethel, nee Smith,she died on my first birthday so its her side of the tree i am searching for now.She came from Tadcaster,dad was from Gloucestershire.I know the surname Smith makes life hard when searching.....Mum had a sister Maggie Spencer who lived in Tadcaster ...last known there in the early 1950,s.Mum died in Cheltenham ,Glos.Can anyone help ???.
