How sad - three sons lost in the war.

So, it looks as if Ethel may have had children, and I don't know if Eric did or not.
The three who died were all unmarried.

Ian Report 16 Oct 2016 19:27

Are these the same Calverts, with brothers consisting of Eric, Cyril, Geoff and Reg?
The father, Rhodes K Calvert, had his own law firm Calvert and sons?

My grandfather Charles Scott Ogilvie, was a friend of Cyril's during WWI and was with Cyril when he was killed. Charlie was captured and spent the rest of the war as a POW. His original ICRC card actually listed the Calverts as his next of kin, instead of his own family. I'm guessing to let them know what happened to Cyril.

I am trying to find the relatives of the family to see if they have any letters from Charlie or his mother Rebecca as I have a letter from Rhodes to Rebecca.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Ian Ogilvie
