Seeking their marriage if any. Children born 1857-1871 have mmn Lewis. Family together in 1861 census. James (see Edwin) away travelling in 1871.
Some of the Ancestry trees say Rachel Hughes but no obvious evidence and I've seen a number of errors.
In passing, I started from Wilfrid Phillips in Croydon 1939. (Wife Dorothy M 1900 and sons Robin 1935 and Ian 1938 away in Letchworth.) 14 Ancestry trees - 4 say born Somerset, 7 born Yorkshire. 3 have Wilfrid, 11 have Wilfred. It was Wilfrid 1901 Chard-1976 Cheltenham.
