I have a confirmed cause, date and place of death. Also confirmation of entry on WW2 civilian death roll of commemoration.

But I cannot find a record of cremation or burial. Can anyone help - as I am hoping this may give clues as to his wife's death (Lily or Lilian Gertrude MARTIN nee SMITH born 23 August 1895 in Wandsworth)?

Edwin Stephen MARTIN
Born 17 March 1896 in Croydon
Died 17 August 1940 • at hospital in Carshalton, Surrey, England as result of wound sustained in an air raid at Croydon airport.
