Please, I need help transcribing a place name near Bamburgh, which is abt 70km North of Tynemouth.
It's in an 1803 baptism for Earsdon (abt 7 km NE of Tynemouth) on the 9th line at:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-6S9W-CWN?i=202&wc=9K53-DPD%3A13617901%2C19407801%2C19407802&cc=1309819

I transcribed most of the line as

"John Younger born March 10th bapt. Oct 28th 1st Son of Henry Younger Labourer Nat. of ????? Bambrough by his Wife Jane Carse Nat. of Newton by the Sea."

but the place I've marked as ????? stumps me.

safc - thanks. I'll go along with Swinhoe.

Where did you get those 2 Younger entries from?
