and here it is on lancs bmd, showing what I thought it was ........... married either in a Registry Office or with registrar Attending, ie, not in the Anglican Church

Looks like her British Father was working out there when she was born, so she was a British Subject. He may have been Military or Civil Service, or an East India company employee.

Is there anyway I can find out more about her birth and life in India

Any help will be very much appreciated
