No. MC’ prior to Sep(ish) 1837 do not show the name of the father, or anyone’s occupation. That came in with civil registration.

Elizabeth is recorded as Cox & the witnesses as Cocks. The image clearly reflects this. Phonetically they are similar. Might the Cocks be related to Elizabeth? Assuming the entry was partially completed before the service, Elizabeth may not have checked the spelling when she was called on to sign her name.

My Stroud Lincoln was born and baptised 1778 Beccles, Suffolk and died 15 Feb 1850 Kensington.

I was hoping the marriage might show who was Elizabeth Cox's father.
