I am attempting to trace my mothers brother Patrick Forrest DOB APP 1916 1918 Lived at Queensland Drive Cardonald Glasgow,who left Glasgow during the 1940s and went to New Zealand .
My Grand mother was Annie Forrest born in Barrhead Renfrewshire Scotland and Married to Frederick Mann.
My mother was Mary Forrest ( Mann) Bell.

Patrick was believed to work in a canning factory and eventually took over the running of the place, this all the information I have on him
Any information would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Frederick

The 'National Library of NZ' (on-line) has an 'Ask a Librarian' service. They will check their records including electoral rolls (past & present) and newspaper death notices.

For accuracy, there's only one birth for a Patrick Forrest listed on Scotlandspeople 1916-1918
